Julie Chen Moonves hosted the popular summer reality show Big Brother which returned to CBS for the 22nd season on August 5. Chen Moonves had been the first of The Talk's hosts, hosting and moderating The Talk since 2010 to the year 2018, when she was the host. She was a writer before becoming host, but her desire was to write. It actually brought the show an Emmy. Her outstanding talk show also earned the host an Emmy. She co-hosted the CBS News weekday morning show The Early Show between 2002 between 2002 and 2010. Prior to that, Chen Moonves was the CBS Morning News' anchor as well as the anchor for news for The Early Show. The anchor was escorted to Cairo after 9/11 and conducted an intense and thrilling discussion with the father who was the primary terrorist who took over the world. Chen Moonves interviewed celebrities such as Denzel Washington and Angelina Jolie. In addition, she met with former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani and Queen Rania. Chen Moonves has also worked for the network's New York City station WCBS as a reporter anchor and anchor (1997-1999). Prior to becoming a part of CBS News at the beginning of 1995 Chen Moonves had been as a reporter at WDTN TV Dayton.
